The Schwalbe Road Cruiser Plus 28″ wired tyre for the future – green, green, green are all its treads

The Road Cruiser Plus wired tyre by Schwalbe is sustainable. A tread rubber with polymers made exclusively from renewable and recycled raw materials. Schwalbe’s special technology makes it possible for the first time to sustainably manufacture the tread rubber of a tyre in demanding standard quality.

For normal pedelecs with pedal assistance up to 25 km/h, the law does not prescribe any special tyres. However, with these bikes, loads and average speeds are usually higher than with normal bikes, so Schwalbe only recommends certain tyres as ” E-Bike ready 25″ and gives them with a special marking.

This 3 mm thick rubber insert offers excellent puncture protection on the entry level.

TwinSkin
An additional rubber coating on the side protects against cuts and enables even colouring.

GREEN Compound
The ” green” rubber compound on the tread offers superior standard quality grip and durability. The rubber now consists largely of natural rubber, which comes from renewable rubber trees, and recycled rubber materials such as rubber gloves and door seals.
